It's easier to just post the edited file that needs to be reinserted into the mod. I use the "sounds.xml.append" file as it is here and it works fine.

I like the ship, it's really cool. One thing to work on though is it kind of glitches out the display. In the picture I took you can see it causes there to be a big gap at the bottom between weapons and drones. I don't know how you'd fix this, but someone here on the forum could probably help you. This is cool, but now because the door room is different it means the room doesn't change to pink when the oxygen level goes down. You could think about fixing that.

I'm also wondering this same question about this achievement and it didn't really seem to be answered.
Can anyone tell me if going to a clean beacon and then choosing for example to explore an asteroid field will cause you to fail the achievement?
