I like the idea of a fire management system, could even be a subsystem you start out with at level 0 and have to pay to upgrade.

Unfortunately the boarder drones seem dangerous when you plan to use your own boarding crews. I sent a boarding drone to the boss, and it just so happened to breach the EXACT (missile) weapons sytem room my two men were in, I managed to beam them out safely before they died of suffocation, but after...

Seems a bit silly if the rebels catch you, then jump away when they've ran out of fuel... How about an emergency jump? you can initiate an emergency jump when out of fuel, but doing so will likely damage your ship? you come out of jump with your engine broken and red, with a hull breach, something s...

I see your point, but personally... I really want to make the 'rebel fleet' ships considerably more difficult. I want the design to be that if you are out of fuel AND the rebel fleet caught up to you ... you're screwed. You messed up somewhere and it's basically game over. If you can defeat the reb...

I was thinking about cheats.. I would love a way to cheese it and start with 999 scrap or something, just to deck out the ship and slaughter the baddies, but historically cheats can sometimes make things less fun (So haven't downloaded the trainer yet... but definitely thinking about it

Best Run so far..
To show some people that aren't playing, I wanted to give a quick runthrough of my last play... I thought at first it was going to be a fail run, on my second jump I managed to loose my third crew member, but I thought I'd keep going anyway and on the next jump got a Glaive beam, sold my other weapo...

Luck/Skill Balance
I wanted to ask an open question from the other beta testers about their current opinion on the balance between the skill and luck factor? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the game the addition of augmentations for example since the Alpha is cool and an another fun way to modify your ship but.....

I do this too, but it totally busted me in one game, as I was by a super nova (and this plan works great for keeping the fires out too), but then my O2 supply got knocked out.. and I couldn't get it back online so all my crew died

When my teleporter is on cooldown and my men dying, I just run them around the ship until I can beam them back, they don't get attacked whilst on the move
