you can make a run through the game in around an hour, but since space bar pauses, you can take 3 hours or more depending on your play style.

2. is definitely a bug unless the boarders were low on health and they teleported back right as their ship blew up (they will retreat if they can when low on health).

you can hit him fine if you use a boarding party to take out all but one weapon (leave one enemy trapped manning the inner left laser gun is my strategy of choice), and then use your boarders to take out the helm and shields. On stage 2 (if you've killed all the central crew on stage 1 this is easy)...

yea, the events that kill your crew members sometimes give you a crew member instead (or other reward), so it isn't a matter of there being a right or wrong answer, it is a gamble each time. If you already HAVE a full crew though the right answer is usually to ignore the event rather than risk losin...

making it so missiles can be taken 1 at a time by boarders from the weapon room, and drone parts from the drone room might be interesting (both from your ship by enemy boarders, and from the enemy ship). You'd probably need to limit it to 1 of each per battle. Maybe they'd have to damage the system ...

I agree it would be nice to be able to sell back fuel/missiles/drone parts at the store; as the replies said some random encounters allow you to sell them but that doesn't help you if you are standing at the store. Or a sandbox option from the start that endlessly has two more nodes to pick from each time you get to the exit (no last stand) Or a +new game that lets you bring x number of crew members from a previous run with their skills intact in place of the default crew.
